Albert was born January 1, 1939 to the late William Roy Jones and the late Estella Louise Keever Jones. He was blessed with a large family of sisters and brothers and a home filled with love. He was a man who never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He held a special place in his heart for all children that he spoiled and loved dearly just as they were his very own. Albert had been employed as a salesman with outstanding and exemplary ability all throughout his life and had made multitudes of friendships that he treasured forever. Albert was indeed a generous man and he was always willing to help those that might need a helping hand. “Big Al” as he was affectionately known by family and friends, enjoyed playing bingo, reading, spending time going junking and looking for treasures. He also loved to go fishing among his favorite mountain streams and rivers. His great passion was vintage cars, and his 1965 Mercury Marauder was indeed his pride and joy. Big Al will forever be remembered for his great love for his family and the blessing that he was to many. He cherished his family with all his heart and soul and his grandchildren were the love of his life.
