Mrs. L. S. Ray, Wife Of Maryland Official
Mrs. Julia Ray, wife of L. S. (Ted) Ray, member of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, died early today in Walter Reed Hospital. She was 55.
Mrs. Ray, who had been ill for some time, lived at 2015 Lanier drive, Silver Spring.
Other survivors include a son, Frank Harvey Ray, Fairland; a grandson; her mother, Mrs. Louise M. LeHardy, Savannah, Ga., and two brothers, Barrett B. and Frank M. LeHardy, both of Savannah.
Mrs. Ray, an area resident of 21 years, had retained her membership in Christ Episcopal Church in Savannah and was a member of the Colonial Dames of America, the Montgomery County Federation of Republican Women and the Silver Spring Republican Women's Club.
