Anna Mae Ison age 86 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away August 30, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mrs. Ison was born June 08, 1934 in Lawrence Co. Kentucky a daughter of the late Lacy Hobert and Snowie Fyffe Morgan.

Anna Mae was a homemaker and had been a Christian for fifty-one years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She was loved by all who met and knew her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother; Arthur Morgan; one daughter in-law; Virginia Jo Ison.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years; Evert Ison, two sons and daughter in-law; Donnie and Georgie Ison, and Raymond Ison. One daughter and son inlaw; Brenda and Jimmy Thornberry all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Three brothers and spouses; George and Mildred Morgan of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Glen and Charlotte Morgan of Fairborn, Ohio, Hobert and Avis Morgan of Louisa, Kentucky. Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 04, 2020 at Whitt & Sons Chapel with Bro. Rodney Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at the Ison Cemetery on Rt. 486.

Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 03, 2020 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour at the funeral home.
