Steve graduated from the University of Toledo School of Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He began working for Dana Corporation in 1976, retiring from there on August 1, 2018. Steve was an avid bicyclist, building his own custom bicycles and riding often with his close friends. He enjoyed watching Ohio State University football, being home with his wife and pets and feeding wild animals. Steve and Susan spent many wedding anniversaries on Mackinac Island, MI. He was a quiet, smart, gentle, loving husband and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Susan; mother, Ellen Cochran; brothers, Jeff and Greg; and his beloved dogs, Leo, Stewart Little, Lilly Sue and Grace “Thug”; and cat, Gigi. He was preceded in death by his dad, Philip Cochran (1927-2003).
