Jean Margaret Romano, age 87, resided at Spring Arbor of Fredericksburg, Va. She passed away peacefully on August 20, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Nick Romano, her brother Bob Koplik, her parents Margaret and Carl Sherman and her son-in-law, George Hayward.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John O’Donnell and daughter, Nicole Hayward; niece, Amy Patnode and husband Pete; grandchildren, Jason O’Donnell and wife Alisa, Matthew O’Donnell, Marli Hayward, Reilly Hayward, Regan O’Donnell and Nick Hayward; and great-grandchildren, Nick and Alonah O’Donnell.

She loved her family and friends, loved to laugh, and loved her jellybeans. Those who knew and loved her best knew you never had to guess what she was thinking! She will be missed by many, including the staff who helped care for her at her assisted living facility.

A private celebration of life will take place sometime in the future.
