Glenn Edward Scott, 79, Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Jefferson City, died Aug. 15, 1999, in Sacramento.
He was born Dec. 6, 1919, in Belleville, Kan. He was married Dec. 26, 1964, to Kay Scott, who survives at the home.
He graduated to the College of Emporia in 1941 with degrees in music and mathematics. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was on the faculty of the Columbus Boychoir School of Princeton, N.J. He later headed the public affairs department of the Michigan State Chamber of Commerce.
For 12 years, he lived in Jefferson City and was executive of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. He was president of the board of trustees of Memorial Community Hospital in 1972-1973.
He moved to Sacramento in 1979. He was an associate of Century 21-All Professionals. He was a member of the Sacramento Association of Realtors, Capital City Lodge 499, Scottish Rite, Shrine and Fremont Presbyterian Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Margaret Ann Farmer, Dayton, Ohio, and Lesley Scott-Gillilan, Adrian, Mich.; two sons, Glenn Scott Jr., Sharon Mass., and Jon Scott, Sacramento.
One son, Eric Scott, died in October 1998.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fremont Presbyterian Church. The remains were cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Russ Monroe's Village Chapel, Fair Oaks, Calif.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children Northern California, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, Calif., 95817.
