Elizabeth graduated from Murphy High School in 1961. She then received a BS in Education from the University of Montevallo and Masters from the University of South Alabama. She taught at Foley High School and Fairhope High School.
Se was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy McKenzie, Jr., daughter, Ashley Fleming, stepdaughter, Charlotta McKenzie and grandson, Justin McKenzie.
She is survived by her daughter and son and many other relatives and friends.
