On Sunday August 23, 2020 Denise Cooper Taylor, age 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Denise was born in Greenville, SC to the late Harold C Cooper and Sara Ann Melton Cooper of Pelzer. She was predeceased by a brother and sister, Bobby and Gayla Cooper.

All who met Denise loved her. She was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, grandmother (NeeNa), cousin and friend.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Chuck Taylor, her daughter Gayla (Jonathan) Baker of Warner Robins, GA; Two sons, Travis (Cynthia) Davis of Pelzer and Jesse (Sierra) Burgess of Laurens. Two sisters, La’faye (Jerry) Cooper of GA and Lisa (Tracy) Cooper of West Pelzer. She is also leaving behind 6 grandchildren who she adored. Sara Mae Davis, Daisy, Avah and Jay Jon Baker, Wyatt Burgess and Taylor Clapper of Conn and stepchildren; step grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends that she loved dearly.

While we are all saddened by her sudden passing. A celebration of Denise’s life will be held in her honor at a later date. Denise was an organ donor and will be able to try and save other lives that are in need of an organ. All attendees are respectfully requested to adhere to Covid-19 mask and social distancing guidelines.
