LLOYD-JONES, Jon - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Bernice Lloyd-Jones (nee: Monkman). Loving father of Bryan, Pamela (Hans Wangleithner). Cherished grandpa of Jakob and Shelby. Caring brother of Betti-Ann (Preston Smith). Brother-in-law of Alice (Jim Wingrove), Rose (Bill Birr), Norma (Dick Lermitte), Mavis Legacy, Cecil Monkman (Caroline). Predeceased by his brother- in- law David Monkman (Marilyn). Jon worked for Kester Solder for 45 years. Following his retirement he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, relaxing at his cottage, travelling and flying his r.c. airplanes. Jon enjoyed spending time with his friends in the Investment Club for 60 years. His smile will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE , 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. cremation to follow. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
