Billie was born on November 26, 1929 in Somervell County, Texas to Daniel and Vera Wheatley. She married Marion Allen Bennett on August 23, 1958 in Bryan County, Oklahoma. Her whole life was devoted to caring for her family and friends. She was a good momma, who dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
Billie was often found mowing her two acres. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Marion Allen Bennett, two sons: Robert Lee Bennett and Wendall Barnes, grandson: Jason Newton, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Billie is survived by her children: Daniel Bradford Bennett and his wife Gail, Patsy Quirm and her husband Sherman, Belinda King, and Linda Mize and her husband Bruce Corker, twin sister: Norma Jean Cox, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Holland Lake for taking such good care of their momma. They could not have chosen a better place.
