Nancy Stalls Woods was the loving daughter of the late Robert Joseph Stalls and Claudia Irene Smith Stalls born November 18, 1951 in St. Johns County, Florida.
She was a devoted homemaker and retired after many years working in retail. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in St. Pauls, NC. In addition to sharing time with her family, Nancy also loved painting ceramics, working puzzles, listening to gospel music and especially reading her Bible. She will forever be cherished as a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Roger Bass; brothers, Robert Wayne Stalls, William Stalls, John Alford Stalls and sister, Judy Caines.
Nancy leaves behind her husband, Michael E. Woods, Sr., of their home; sons, James "Jimmy" Bass (Cyndy) of Charleston, SC, Robert W. Bass (Tonya) of West Unions, SC, Michael Woods and Mitchell Woods both of Laurinburg, NC; her daughters, Patricia Marie Evans (James) of Palm Harbor, FL, Melinda Woods of Laurinburg, NC, Kelly Lynch of Grover, NC; fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the McNeill Section of Oakridge Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC. Family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday evening, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
COVID-19 Mandates require facial mask or cover and attendance for services will be limited.
