Mary Ann Roland, was born in Bakersfield, CA on January 31st, 1949 to Alva and Joseph Roland, but was raised by Lawrence Reagor both have preceded her in death.
A Time to Live
Mary attended Enterprise elementary and Washington High School. Mary began her relationship with the Lord at a very young age. She attended Saint John Baptist Church where she was an active member for many years and was baptized as a teenager. She relocated to Arizona 1973 and gained employment as Executive House at the Embassy Suites over 15 years.
A Time to Love
Mary met Charles Celestine 1963. She gave birth to Lawrence Celestine in December 1964. Mary met Willie Boykins in 1965 and to this union was born three children, Kerry, Karmen, Korey Boykins.
Mary enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved reading and once a week she would go to the library with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, which she was great at. To supplement her income she would prepare and sell dinners in her community. She also had a store.
A Time to Die
Mary went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8th, 2020. Mary was a daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed. Mary was preceded in death by her fathers Joseph Roland and Lawrence Reagor Sr., her daughter Karmen Boykins, her oldest grandson Cederick Boykins, and her four brothers Lawrence Jr., Gary & Jerry Reagor, & Darrin Casey.
A Time to Mourn
Mary leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her three sons Lawerence Celestine, Kerry & Korey Boykins, her mother Alva Reagor, her brothers Fredrick Turner, Lindsey Reagor, her sisters Nadine, Darlene, Diona, Monique, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
