Signatures for "Salvador Andrews" and "Betsey Andrews" (which looks like the handwriting in Salvador's signature) appear on a page dated 05 Apr 1826 in Ashfield, Mass., and the page dated 09 Jan 1827, in Ashfield, Mass.
My own 18-year-old grandmother, having already lost her mother in 1904, put the wrong name ("George" Andrews) on the 1911 death certificate of her father (Lee Roberts Andrews), so I know this happens. She later corresponded with her father's sister, who shared some family records with her.
I have the copies of these records if you would like them. I have already sent copies to Frank Williams at the cemetery.
