County Pioneer Dies -- Mrs. Marie Eliza Wheeler Died this morning at her residence. She was born in Genesee County, New York and there was married to James A. Allen. Their early married life was spent in Byron, where they went in 1855. After Mr. Allen's death his widow married D.C. Wheeler in 1887. Burial will be in Byron cemetery.
Also, Marie's death is recorded in the Fond du Lac County Records, Vol. 1922, page 353.
