WOODARD.—Palestine, Texas, Sept. 12—Funeral services were held Wednesday for Charles M. Woodard, 45, Elkhart sawmill operator injured in an auto truck crash miles north of here Sunday night. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Miss Retha and Miss Lois Woodard; two sons, T. V. and S. B. Woodard; two brothers, L. D. and W. C. Woodard; one sister, Mrs. B.J.F Parker, and his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ann Woodard, all of Elkhart, J.R. Dysert, accused driver of the truck that figured n the accident, was charged with negligent homicide in Justice John W. Moore's court.
