Son of Lenore and Donald Franklin Wagoner. He graduated from Norcross High School where he played in the marching band. He was the drum line major for several years and earned the John Philip Sousa Award in his senior year in 1990. He graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in engineering and a minor in music. He worked at Samsung Electronics. He was an active volunteer at the Shepherd Center and with multiple animal rescue groups. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wagoner (d. 25 Oct 2010, Buford, GA). He leaves his mother, Lenore Wagoner; wife of 23 years, Deborah Celecia Wagoner; daughters, Lily and Norah; older brother David Wagoner; sister-in-law, Karen; and niece and nephews, Kaitlyn, Brandon, and Austin.
