Marie is survived by brother William C. Cartinhour Jr.; daughters, Ellen, Margaret, and Caroline Woods; sons-in-law Philip Johnson and Gordon Peerman; grandchildren Josephine VanDevender Ward (Giles), Cecil VanDevender (Lauren), Benjamin Polansky (Caroline), Michael Polansky, William Denkler (Megan), Lydia Denkler, Katherine White (Michael); and great-children Hugo and Cecil Ward, Lucia and Mae Polansky.
