From a handwritten note copied in front of Harrison County Cemetery Book, Vol. 1: John Conrad Hottel died_____ born in Shenandoah Co., VA. 12/22/1779 married in VA. 11/12/1801 to Barbara Funkhouser born 12/9/1782 died 5/29/1840 moved to Harrison Co., IN. in 1814.
