There she lived with her mother Lotte-Mae who married her dedicated father Bela Woods. Annette attended Booker T. Washington in Montgomery. Annette decided she needed a change and moved to New York shortly after where she took up work as a housekeeper. After a short while in New York Annette moved to Norwalk, Connecticut where she would stay and call home.

Annette was a devout Christian and served the lord for thirty plus years as a mother at Macedonia Church in Norwalk. With her infectious smile, upbeat attitude, and willingness to always do for others she will be missed dearly, yet never forgotten.
A family gathering will be held at 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Baker Funeral Services Chapel, 84 South Main St, Norwalk, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 AM, Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave, Norwalk, CT.
