Annette Woods-Atkins age 76 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. Annette Woods, was born on January 5, 1944 in Autaugaville, Alabama to Lottie Mae Warren and Roosevelt Galson.

Annette Woods, was born on January 5, 1944 in Autaugaville, Alabama to Lottie Mae Warren and Roosevelt Galson. Annette lived there as a small child before moving to Montgomery, Alabama. There she lived with her mother Lotte-Mae who married her dedicated father Bela Woods. Annette attended Booker T. Washington in Montgomery. Annette decided she needed a change and moved to New York shortly after where she took up work as a housekeeper. After a short while in New York Annette moved to Norwalk, Connecticut where she would stay and call home.
She leaves cherished memories to her children Anthony Ashley (Virgina Beach, VA), Deborah Ashley (Montgomery, AL), Ervin (Sonny) Ashley(Deceased). Tracy Woods (Norwalk, CT), Mark Woods (Norwalk, CT), and Keith Woods (Deceased). Lottie Mae Woods (Deceased), Fathers Bela Woods and Roosevelt Galson( Deceased), Devoted Grandmother Mary Ellen Warren (Deceased), Devoted Aunt, Bernice Warren.
Sisters: Jacqueline (Robert)Croley(Montgomery, AL, Cynthia Motley(Montgomey,AL), Bernice Pearson(Montgomery, AL) Charlie Mae Dunklin (Montgomery, AL) Rosie Mae Galson (Deceased), Ardell Crenshaw (Chicago), Annie Ree Johnson (Deceased), Sallie Mae Galson (Deceased), Fannie Ree Rogie (Deceased) A Devoted Friend/Sister Martha Rae Brown.
Brothers: Michael Woods(Montgomery, AL) and Dwight Woods Copeland(Montgomery, AL) Roosevelt Golson Jr (Deceased) Roosevelt Golson II, Jimmy Ford, Edward Ford, William Ford, Maxy Ford, and Ray Ford.
As well as many grandchildren Shandrea Pearson, Brandon Ashley, James Woods-Gary, Montrell Woods, Rahqwaun Ashley, Cenya Davis, and Xiomara Woods, and a whole host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Annette was a devout Christian and served the lord for thirty plus years as a mother at Macedonia Church in Norwalk. With her infectious smile, upbeat attitude, and willingness to always do for others she will be missed dearly, yet never forgotten.
A family gathering will be held at 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Baker Funeral Services Chapel, 84 South Main St, Norwalk, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 AM, Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave, Norwalk, CT.
