Faye Massie, a resident of Westland, took her flight to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the age of 76.

Faye was the beloved wife of Jimmie and loving mother of the late Pamela Faye Skidmore and Charles F. Lee.

She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher (Gabriel) Reed and Jeremy Skidmore and great-grandmother of Emily Faye, Riley, Kendal and Pamela Faye.

She was the dear sister of William (Shirley) Sanders, Barbara Franzel, Janis (Glen) Lee, Ida Baugher, Stella (James) Bright, Mary (Lonnie) Henson, Hazel Rose, Virginia (Michael) Schmitzerle, Cathy (Rob) Moran and Sandra Sanders. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home in Livonia.

She was laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park.

Faye had many talents, whether it was quilting, painting or being the beautiful person that she was. She was loved and greatly appreciated by her church family at Prayer Baptist. Faye will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
