Kenneth W. Wicker, 71, Anderson, died August 3, 2008 after an extended illness. He was born August 21, 1936 in Truman, Arkansas, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Kenneth served his country in the US Army. He retired from Anderson Fire Department after 23 years of service. Kenneth was a member of the Central Indiana Bluegrass Association and the American Legion Post #127. He was a former member of the Model A Restorers' Club. He is survived by his children, Kellie Wile-Bush Mark of Indianapolis, Kerrie "Cookie" Wicker of Anderson, Michael Wicker of Anderson and Kenneth "Casey" Wicker Christine of Anderson; sister, Elizabeth Godfrey of Anderson; four grandchildren, Kristal McCorkle Collin, Kara Wile, Brady Fisher and Carter Wicker; two great grandchildren, Kennedy & Kerrigan McCorkle and special companion and caregiver, Ann Flath. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Wagner Wicker who passed away September 21, 2004; parents, James & Lucille Barton Wicker and brother, Jim Wicker. www.LooseFuneralHomes.com
