Graveside services for Mr. John Wayne "J.W." Fontenot 75, will be held privately with his immediate family, burial will be in the Te Mamou Cemetery.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Rose Fontenot and husband Dirk of Ville Platte; sister Mary Fontenot of Pine Prairie; three grandchildren, Brandon, Dakota, Arris; his special caregiver Clare Ardoin; and his lifelong friend Jimmy "Meatball" Lafleur. He is preceded in death by his parents John P. and Harris Fontenot, wife Nellie Giroir Fontenot, son Neily Fontenot, daughter Sherry Ann Fontenot, and sister Barbara Deville.
