Born to the late Elbert and Mary Ramsey-Wright, on April 27, 1928, Elsie enjoyed a long and successful life. She was a retired realtor with over thirty years of service with Century 21, who on multiple occasions had been named in the Million Dollar Sales Club of the Nashville, Tennessee area. She was the life of the party everywhere she went with her positivity and humor. Elsie loved her family and friends fiercely. She enjoyed traveling the world, dancing, golfing and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of Five Points Freewill Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee. Elsie never met a stranger and her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her late husbands, Sam Holt of 34 years and Daniel Barnett of 29 years; son, Michael "Mike" Holt and brother, Elbert "Bub" Wright, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Kathy) Holt; one brother, Kenneth (Joyce) Wright; four grandchildren, Samantha, Kayla, Aaron and Carrie; one great grandchild, Grayson and special nieces and nephews; Julie, Mary Lou, Tom, Chris and Billy.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, Tennessee. The family encourages that everyone enjoy the tribute video found on the website listed below.
