EAST DUBUQUE ALDERMAN DIES
Richard Heller Succumbs at Home Easter Morn
Richard H. Heller, 68, East Dubuque alderman, died at his home there Sunday morning at 3 o'clock. He had been ill for two weeks. The body is at the East Dubuque Funeral Home, from where it will be transferred to the Wesley Methodist Church, where services will be held at 3 o‘clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.
Mr. Heller, who was serving his second term as alderman, was born at Galena, Ill., on Aug. 27, 1874. He came to East Dubuque 55 years ago, and was last employed as a tailor at the Fuhrman-Triller Company, Dubuque. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church, the Modern Woodmen of America, Camp No. 1639, and the Martin Lodge, AF and AM, of East Dubuque. He was married to Miss Minnie Liddle on May 4, 1898.
Survivors are his widow, four children, Mrs. Henry (Marjorie) Brenner, Chicago; Mrs. A. L. (Harriet) Yeager, Michigan City, Ind.; Gerald Heller, East Dubuque, and Russell H. Heller, Forest Park, Ill.; three brothers, William and Louis Heller, Dubuque, and A. P. Heller, Centralia, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Fleishman, Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Haines, Lemmon, S. D.; also six grandchildren.
