Dwight Price Bennett, of Cullman passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the age of 88. Dwight was born on October 15, 1931 to Charlie Emmett and Maddie Beulah Persall Bennett.

He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and worked in Human Resources in the manufacturing industry. He served in the United States Air Force. He loved to dance and was known to drink a little Jim Beam. Dwight never met a stranger and would always give you an affectionate hug. He was a sports enthusiast and a huge Alabama fan. He taught bowling lessons and managed the Cullman Bowling Alley. He loved going to the beach and always sported a great tan.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Faye McNeal, Betty Burger, Mary Miller and Gail Story and brothers: Chester, Aubrey, James and Cecil Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, sons, step daughters, step son, 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Rosary Service at Sacred at Heart Catholic Church August 30, 2020 beginning at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass was August 31, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery.
