Dr. Orion Otis Feaster, M.D., 78, retired radiologist, died Tuesday (June 29, 1971).

Born in Micanopy, Dr. Feaster moved to St. Petersburg in 1920. He served in World War I and II and the Korean War.

Dr. Feaster was a past president of the Pinellas Medical Association and the Florida State Medical Society, former vice president of the Radiological Society of North America, a member of the Rotentgen Ray Society, American Radium Society, the American Medical Association and a fellow in the American College of Radiology.

After his retirement in 1948, Dr. Feaster left St. Petersburg to spend 20 years in Washington and Mississippi. For the last year and a half he lived in Hernando until he returned this month to live at 5801 27th Ave. N.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Annette; two sons, Orion O. Jr. of Lakeland and John Tipkin of Gainesville; a brother, B. L. of Pass Christian, Miss. and a nephew, Dr. B. Lynn Feaster of St. Petersburg.
