Bobby had three loves in his life: God, who he served faithfully through his service in the Church; Maxine, his wife, who he cherished with all of his heart and was the center of his world; and his family, who he would sacrifice anything for.
Bobby was filled with the gift of a servant's heart, always filling a need wherever he went. He loved having fellowship with his family and friends. Many have commented that that they remember him for his sense of humor and that he was often the "life of the party"
Bobby is survived by his wife, Maxine; his children Pamela Hawes (Jerral) and Patricia Shugart (Stacy); His grandchildren, Bowen Shugart (Kimberly), Benny Shugart (Brittany), and Hannah Hawes (Tristan); and his great-grandchildren, Jason, Ethan, Seth, MacKenzie, Emelie, Brooklynn, and Baylie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at Bethel Baptist located at 2248 Morgan Ln. Ingleside. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
