"Matthew J Gorman, 77, of 953 West Spring street, died at the Titusville Hospital at 1 am yesterday following an illness of five months. A son of the late Austin and Bridget Gavin Gorman, he was born in this city on Dec 1, 1872, and lived in this vicinity all his life. He had been employed in the oil refineries but was retired for a number of years. He was a member of St Titus church. He leaves two sisters, Mrs Mary Kightlinger of Titusville and Mrs William Schneible of Denver, Colo; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs Allen Gritton of Danville, Ill, died two months ago. The body is at the W M Curtis funeral home where friends may call...Requiem mass will be celebrated at St Titus church at 9 am Saturday and interment will follow in St Catharine's cemetery."
