Lawrence Junior Day, 65, Christian County, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 at Continue Care at Baptist, Madisonville of natural causes.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Day officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Gamble Funeral Home. A native of Christian County, he was born April 24, 1955 son of the late Willie Henry Day and Zelma Mae Moss Day. Lawrence worked several years for Garnett Farms. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

Survivors include 7 children, Monica Day, Darrell Day, Shreveport, LA, Franchesca McKnight, Clarksville, TN, Christopher Safford, Glasgow, KY, Frank McKnight, Nashville, TN, Patrick Safford, Brandon Safford, Hopkinsville, KY. Siblings, Leslie (Pearl) Day, Larry Day, Rev. Donald Day, Paul Day, Elvira Brewer, Hopkinsville, KY, Joe L. (Marilyn) Day, Indianapolis, IN, Edward Day, Springfield, TN and Ray A Day, Lexington, KY. 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
