Agnes Mable Marston was born Dec. 30, 1896; m. August 26, 1936 to John Howard Little; d. March 4, 1987.
Following graduation from high school, Agnes taught school at Oak Level School in Fort Valley and then as a reporter for The Northern Virginia Daily in Woodstock. After World War I she also worked for the Federal government’s War Risk Insurance Office in Washngton.
Following her marriage she and Howard operated the Littles’ Grocery Store in Strasburg.
She is buried at the Clem Cemetery.
(Her burial place is unexpected, but Aunt Agnes once told me how pretty she thought the Clem Cemetery was. Unusual not to a have a member of the Marston family buried at Massanutten.)
