Mary Genevieve Weston, (Tinty) age 91, of Bradenton, Florida died August 11, 2020. She was born on January 24, 1929 in Framingham, Massachusetts.

She married H. Gordon Weston Jr. June 26, 1949 and they were married 66 years. She was a wonderful stay at home Mom, caring for her husband and two children. During the day while her children were in school, she delivered coffee and donuts to local construction and concrete sites during the employees break time. She catered events at Hollistons town hall and was active in the Curtain Timers, a community theatre in Holliston, Massachusetts. She volunteered with March of Dimes, too.

One dream, she had, was to be a nurse. That dream was put off until her two children were in college and she had time to pursue it. She then went to nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse at Leonard Morse Hospital, in Natick, Massachusetts. She also became an, EMT in Holliston, Massachusetts. The thrill of her life was delivering a baby.

Tinty and Gordon retired to Bradenton, Florida. They traveled the world and made many new friends and had many exciting adventures together. She worked part time at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida for 5 years. After moving to Freedom Village in Bradenton, Florida she became active in their new community. She was on the Council at Freedom Village, Chairman of the food committee and also sang in the community chorus. She continued many activities including being President of the Assisted Living Council for a year. She loved activities and participated in many during her time in the Assisted Living Facility.

Surviving her are: daughter, Donna A. Wood, Las Cruces, NM and son, Paul G Weston, Springhill, FL. She also leaves behind, four grand children, their spouses, six great grand children as well as many friends.

She was interned at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Florida, where her husband Gordon was buried.
