Ricky Ray Ford, 63, of Canyon, passed away on August 27, 2020.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Brooks Chapel with Kerry Spinks, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Brooks Chapel.

Ricky was born on January 20, 1957 to Billy Ray and Bobbie Ford. He graduated from Wellington High School with the class of '75. Ricky worked for Randall County Road and Bridge for 17 years.

Ricky loved to fish and golf, but he especially enjoyed dirt track racing for the past 40 years. He was generous with his time, always helping in the pit crew for everyone at the track. He enjoyed racing with his daughter, Nikki, for the past three years. Ricky's family encourages you to go support Route 66 Motor Speedway in his honor.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Survivors include his daughter, Nikki Arriaga and husband Nathaniel; sisters, Debbie Ford and Janice Ford; nieces, Dedra, Dena, Becky, Jennifer, and Courtney; several great-nieces and nephews as well as numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
