Julie Ann Otterbein-Morris, age 52, of Coopersville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 14, 2020. Julie was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Harvey and Donna (Morgan) Otterbein. She was a graduate of Coopersville High School and worked in the Coopersville School's Food Service Program. Julie was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend, with the most contagious smile and laughter. She loved spending time with her family, was a selfless woman who always put her children and family members needs before her own, and was a caregiver to her mother Donna. In keeping with her selfless spirit, and because of macular degeneration vision loss in the family, Julie was a Gift of Life organ donor, and through her gift she will be assisting others to see. She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Otterbein and sister Diane Titus. Julie is survived by her son, Jeremy Morris; twin daughters, Sarah Morris and Heather Morris; mother Donna Otterbein; sister, Marcia (Mike) Lowing; brothers, Doug (Carol) Otterbein, Tom (Cindy) Otterbein and John (Gina) Otterbein; brother-in-law Mark Titus and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Cleveland St. East, Coopersville, MI 49404. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church 300 Cleveland St. East, Coopersville, MI., with Rev. Joel Hoyer officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her children invite you to consider a memorial donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 2922 Fuller Avenue NE, Ste 114, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, because without the financial contributions to the research of such cancers, we may have had 8 less years with our beloved mother.
