Gloria Belle Baker also known as Glory Belle 96 left this world on Tuesday August 25, 2020 in Rolla, MO surrounded by her family. Gloria was born to the late Walter Tucker and Maude Ward Tucker in Ink, MO on July 24, 1924.
Gloria was united in marriage to Gus Baker on December 22, 1945. To this union two children were born. Sadly, her husband Gus and two children JoAnne and Tommy preceded her in death.
Gloria was a longtime member of Crossville Baptist church when she lived in Bunker MO, later she attended New Home Baptist when she moved to Salem. Gloria worked hard helping the rebuild of Bunker Union Church, that is now a museum. She loved to dance, singing, playing the organ. Another past time was playing cards. She loved to cook for her family and friends. The love and time spent with family and friends was what brought her the most joy.
Gloria is survived by grandchildren; Shelly Baker, Greg Teague, Amanda & Ian Olszewski, Bradley Baker, Candi Atchison and Chrissy White. Sister Rosa Lee, a host of great-great grandchildren and extended family.
Funeral Services for Gloria Belle Baker will be held Friday August 28, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at the Salem Chapel of James & Gahr with Pastor Clay Harper officiating. Interment will be in the North Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are, Tyson Baker, Tanner Baker, Talon Baker, Greg Teague, Ian Olszewski, Austin Olszewski.
