Floyd Moss, 76, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Poteau passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Fort Smith.
Floyd was born Dec. 24, 1941, in Fort Smith to Elmer and Evelyn (Armsteadt) Moss. He was retired from the City of Poteau Street Department. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Patterson; and brothers, Raymond House, Paul, Johnny and John Moss.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Kathy Moss of Fort Smith, Terry and Shelia Moss of Spiro; seven grandchildren, Christian, Ashley, Andy, Terry Jr., Steven, Misty and Cody; sister, Marlene Tucker of Alma, Ark.; brothers, James Moss of Bokoshe, Kenny Moss of Poteau, Jerry Moss of Fort Smith; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Evans and Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Jim Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Jon Spessard, Billy Johnson, Chase Wheeler, Wes Tackett, Roger Harrison and David Harrison. The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday to visit with relatives and friends.
