Mrs. Ethel Ragains Anderson, age 96, of Fredericksburg, passed away Monday, August 24 at Northwood Retirement Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born June 7, 1924 in Lexington, Kentucky the daughter of Goble Stivers and Jessie Brewer Stivers. She was a member of Posey Chapel Church and a homemaker.

Ethel married James Ragains and he preceded her in death, she then married Leland Vaughn Anderson and he also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Arthur Stivers and Irvin Florence, a sister: Mary Lou Griffitts, and her parents: Goble Stivers and Jessie Lence.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11AM at Kays Chapel Cemetery with burial to follow.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
