Gordon Lee Evans, 61, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the University of Missouri Hospital.
Friends and family will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Second Christian Church in Fulton, Missouri. A Homegoing Celebration will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Southside Cemetery in Fulton, following the service.
Gordon was born on May 16, 1959 in Fulton, Missouri to the late James Garfield and Dorthy Mae (Henderson) Evans.
He graduated from Fulton High School. Gordon was employed by and retired from the Fulton State Hospital. He enjoyed fishing and watching action movies.
Gordon is survived by his son Jared Lee Evans of Mexico; sisters: Delois Yocum and Clarissa Cole of Columbia; brothers: Carl (Sigrid) Evans of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Donnie Logan, Ronnie Logan, both of Kansas City, Russell Logan of Mexico; grandchildren: Xavier L. Evans, and Autumn R. Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: James Evans.
