Jack Douglas Cole, Sr, 94, of Sugartown, LA passed from this life on Tuesday morning, August 25, 2020.
Born June 8, 1926 in Sugartown, LA, son of Abner and Nellie Cole, he attended the Sugartown school. In 1944 he joined the United States Navy and in 1949 joined the United States Air Force retiring in 1966 as a Master Sergeant.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Douglas Cole, Jr of California; his daughter, Nancy Phy of Sugartown, LA; his son, Danny Cassels and wife Cynthia of Rosepine, LA; son, Billy Cassels and wife Paula Jean of Crescent Valley, NV; daughter, Mary-Nell Cole of Sugartown, La.; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cole, his parents, his two sisters, and an infant brother.
Jack has worked on airplanes, drove semi-trucks cross country, and worked offshore. He lived a full life. He enjoyed gardening, photography, building computers, motorcycles, cars, and traveling.
