John Lloyd Talbot, age 73 of New Boston, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his residence. Mr Talbot was born January 28, 1947 in Leesville, Louisiana. He was in the US Army Special Forces, a Christian and a rancher. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr & Mrs Lioyd Wilson, mother, Mary Talbot, father, Jack Talbot, two sons, Ian Dale Talbot and John Brady Talbot.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna of New Boston, daughter Lisa Talbot of Bossier City, one brother and sister in law, David and Gail Talbot of New Boston, mother in law, V Marguerite Henderson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church, New Boston, Texas with Bro Jeff Shreveport and Bro Larry Sims officiating. Interment will be in the Shipp McCright Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm at the church.
