"She was born Glenda Sue Bennett on July 24, 1940 in Coleman to John Ivan Bennett and Ada Loraine Grimes Bennett. She grew up and attended school in Coleman. Sue married Owen Albert Myers on May 17, 1957 in Coleman. Sue was a well-known waitress in Coleman and worked at just about every restaurant in town. She worked at the Shiloh Restaurant for many years serving the patrons of Coleman with great service and a kind smile. Sue sang with the Concho Trio for many years. She is now experiencing firsthand all the songs that she made us feel in our hearts so many times. Sue loved all children and treated each one of them as if they were her own. She was a member of the Concho Baptist Church. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind an amazing legacy for her family.

"Sue is joined in heaven by her parents, John and Ada Bennett; her husband, Owen Albert Myers; her infant children, Stephen Bennett Myers and Kellie Myers; and her siblings, Edward Bennett, Dorothy Freeman, Barbara Perrie, Hazel Wolf, and Betty Lou Bennett.

"She is survived by her children, Tara Olinger and husband Creston of Coleman, Sherri Akens and husband Kem of Waynesboro, Virginia, Greg Myers of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Traci Escobar of Brady; her grandchildren, Clayton Olinger, Chasity Olinger, Creston Olinger, Jason Thweatt, Haley Kimmel, Judson Thweatt, KaiRieka Trench, Kellie Evans, Kasper Myers, Joshua Myers, Brittni Williams, Vallari Escobar, and Kolbi Escobar; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

"Pallbearers will be Clayton Olinger, Kasper Myers, Bruce Perrie, Creston Olinger, Aaron Parks, and Avery Hale.

"Condolences, remembrances, and messages of comfort can be expressed to the family at www.livingmemorials.com.
