Jesse Jay Perry, age 63, of Auxvasse, Missouri passed away at his home on Friday, September 21, 2020.
Jesse was born September 28,1956, in Miami, Florida, the son of the late E. H. Meeker and the late Charlotta (Robinson) Meeker.He was married to Jeanne (Bonds) Perry who survives his passing.
Jesse was no stranger to hard work and earned his living as a roofer. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to fish and look for rocks. He also enjoyed Bible Study. Jesse found great pleasure in simply spending time with family and dogs.
In addition to his wife, Jesse will be missed by sons, Roger Nolf of Kingdom City, Missouri and Tommy Shannon of Kingdom CIty, Missouri; daughters, Jennie Childress of Alabama and Wendy Nolf of Kingdom City, Missouri; brother, Jack Meeker of Orange, California; sister, Mattie Meeker of Orange, California; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends may call from 4:00pm until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to Harmony Baptist Church.
