Leslie's grandchildren were his life, he enjoyed watching them play sports and was their number one fan. He was everyones Poppie. He served his country in the Army and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Decatur. Leslie retired from General Motors in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years: Sharon Roberson Weeks, two daughters; Alicia Tanner (Eric) and Kristina Weeks, nine grandchildren, six brothers; Roy Lee Weeks (Betty Ross), Harvey Weeks (Brenda), Wayne Weeks, Howard Weeks (Molly), Glenn Weeks and Roger Weeks (Lori), and five sisters; Jeanette Blazer, Judy Wells, Carolyn Hall, Wanda Weeks (Randy) and Sandra Siegal (Bill).
He was preceded in death by his parents; J.O. and Annie Ruth Weeks and two brothers; Jimbo and Delta Weeks.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family extends special thanks to family, friends and his Doctors and Nurses at Huntsville Hospital.
