Born July 26, 1949 in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Barrett and Sophia (Brewer) Barrett.
She married Benny Barger, on February 12, 1984 who survives.
She was a former employee of Save-a-step Scottsburg, Indiana She was a member of the The Well of Scottsburg

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. James Carmichael officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana
