CAMDEN - A funeral service for Deacon Clarence Troy Hunter, 60, will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greater Faith & Joy Tabernacle Church Cemetery, Lugoff, S.C.
Deacon Hunter passed away on August 22, 2020. Born in Camden, S.C. on June 9, 1960, he was a son of the late Delfield Hunter, Sr. and Idell Hunter Lawson. He was a member of Life in the Word Outreach.
Surviving are his sons, Cleasha Moses of Camden, S.C., Kenyan Warren, and Malcolm Franklin; grandchildren, Andonis Moses, Anylah Moses, Auryah Moses, and Alirah Moses; siblings, Shirley Hunter Mayrant, Annie Mae Dixion, Linda Hunter Rawlinson, Wendell Hunter, Sr. (Vanessa), Mary Hunter Salmond (Kenneth), Joseph W. Hunter, and Gert Jefferson; a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Patricia Starks, and Jacqueline Morales. He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Blair Hunter; and siblings, Timothy Hunter and Emma Hunter.
