Bradley Joe Bailey, 62 of Smyrna, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was born on August 4, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV to Joe and Betty Eddy Bailey. He was a 1976 graduate of St. Marys High School. Brad had a passion for music. He began playing bass guitar in high school with The Singing Carriers. After graduation, he started on his career as a professional musician. He played with Paull Caldwell and the Young Apostles before joining The Blue Ridge Quartet in 1979. Following his stay with The Blue Ridge Quartet, he joined Mel McDaniel.



He was preceded in death by his father. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Teresa Carchio Bailey and his daughter, Terri Beth, Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Bailey, St. Marys, WV; brothers, Mark (Robin) Bailey, and Matthew (Barbara) Bailey, both of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Calcutta United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Mayfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Bills Cemetery at Calcutta. Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys is helping the family with the arrangements.
