Dorothy D. Sutton
Sutton, Dorothy D. Bay City, Michigan Dorothy D. Sutton, age 73 years, died Monday, April 9, 2007 in Bay Medical Center. She was born September 6, 1933 to the late Al and Angeline (Krysziak) Napieral-ski in Bay City where she resided all her life. Dorothy attended St. Joseph High School and was in the first Class to graduate from St. Stanislaus High School. During most of her life she was a homemaker and was employed by the former H. G. Wendland & Co. before retiring as store manager from Milliken Dept Store in 1995. On August 30, 1952 she married Jack D. Sutton who survives along with their two sons: Tyler (Dianna) Sutton, Shawn M. Sutton; three grandchildren: Joshua, Steph-anie, and Trevor Sutton; and her two brothers: Art and Allen Napieralski. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Sutton. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church. (Dorothy will lie in state in church Friday after 10:00 a.m.). Her nephew, Rev. Thomas Sutton and Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN will officiate and the Rite of Committal will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The Vigil for the Deceased will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Trahan Chapel. Memorials may be directed to St. Maria Goretti Parish or the Bay Area Catholic School Foundation.
