Honoring LeRoy Frederick Holdforth who passed away peacefully Friday, July 10th at the age of 93 with his family by his side.

He will forever live in the heart and memory of his loving wife Darthey Ann Holdforth. They enjoyed many years traveling the United States especially multiple times to Alaska.

Loving father of Terry and David Maimer and D'Ann and Troy VanRiper. Proud grandfather of Bill (Andrea), Wes (Dezi), Clay, Lauren. Also four great grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Francis and Emma, also siblings Nadine, Ilene, Arlene and Kenneth.

LeRoy was a very giving and humble man, always ready to help family and friends. He was virtually a life long resident of Fredericksburg graduating High School from St. Mary's.
He went on to be a "Jack of all Trades" serving in the Army four years during WWII, bollwevel and fire ant extermination, Dunlap Tires, maintenance for Fredericksburg family motels.

A Private graveside service with military honors will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery by Rev. John Nolan.



LeRoy will be fondly memorialized at a service later in the year due to Covid19.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in his memory to the Wounded Warriors or to the charity of your choice.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Knopp's and Votive Hospice for their constant love and care.
