Clarence Joseph "Pistol" Dias, a lifelong resident of Violet, LA, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the age of 84.

He was the beloved husband of the late Lilly Baham Dias. Loving father of Laura D. Schlater. Loving step-father of the late Jeannette D'Antoni Drewes, Bruce A. D'Antoni Sr and Bertha D'Antoni Spence.

Son of the late Laura Alcon Dias and Clarence S. Dias. Brother of the late Norman N. Dias and Margie M Dias. Grandfather of Joseph, Victoria, Scott, Bruce, Mark, Brian, Theresa, Clarence, and Grace. Great grandfather of 19. Also survived by Lillian D'Antoni and Joseph Schlater Jr and his special loving caregiver and extended family member Anne Marie Liuzza Cundiff.

Pistol is also survived and will forever be fondly remembered by his loving family and countless friends who laughed with him often and loved him dearly.

Pistol was a longtime and honored employee of Boh Brothers Inc. and a proud membr the Carpenters & Pile Drivers Local #1846.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Concerned Care Hospice for their professional care and loving compassion.

Visitation at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, Funeral Mass June 20th at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
