Kimberly C. "Kim" Ferguson-Thompson, age 39, passed away all too soon after a courageous, 7 year battle with congestive heart failure on Monday evening, August 24, 2020. She was a resident of Nashville.

She was born July 10, 1981, in Franklin. Kim graduated in 1999 and went on to earn a degree in nursing from Medtech College School of Nursing in Greenwood in 2014. She worked as an LPN at the Indiana Masonic Home from 2007-2018 and at a group home in Trafalgar. Kim was also a server at Brownie's Restaurant in Bean Blossom.

Kim will be remembered for the care and compassion that she shared with all her patients. It was her true calling to help and love others, which made her a great nurse. She loved spending time with her family. especially her nieces and nephews, and enjoyed shopping, listening to music, cooking, traveling and caring for her fur baby Pitbull, Precious.

She will be dearly missed by her mother, Christina (Kenny) Arnold of Nashville; father, Kenneth (Debbie) Ferguson of Morgantown; siblings, Todd (Heather) Ferguson of Nashville, Ethan Ferguson, Allie Ferguson, Chad (Angie) Arnold all of Morgantown, Rebecca (Brett) Regal and David Certolic both of Rushville; paternal grandmother, Pauline Ferguson of Franklin; maternal grandmother, Carmalita Emberton of Morgantown, fur baby, Precious; and several nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by her brother: B.J. Arnold, maternal grandfather: Ronald Emberton, paternal grandfather Paul Ferguson and step grandparents Donald & Sandy Smith and Billy & Molly Arnold.

The Rev. Ken Smith will conduct a celebration of life service for Kim at 7 p.m. on Monday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. To reduce the spread of COVID-19 and follow the mandate by the Governor of Indiana, all visitors will be required to provide and wear their own face covering and maintain social distancing.
