Dennis John Schmidt was born on May 16, 1958, son of Orville and Lucille Schmidt. Age 59, Dennis (Schmitty) left the world on September 30, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. To have known Schmitty was to love him. He resided in Florida and lived his life to the fullest and was a hard worker. He loved time spent with his family and friends and his best friend, Barney the dog! He will truly be missed by all those who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his sons, Dylan Schmidt and Ryan (Britney) Schmidt; Granddaughter, Brianne; special friend, Kathy; ex-wife, Kelly; 5 brothers, Bob (Connie) Schmidt, Bill (Denise) Schmidt, Abe (Brenda) Schmidt, Charlie (Marcia) Schmidt, and Rickie (Bridget) Schmidt; 3 sisters, Carol Schmidt, Sue (Al) Carlson and Kathy (Brian) Swanson and many nieces, nephews and other relatives
